I do too, my 1948 Ford had a Chevrolet engine, transmission and frame, best Ford I ever owned.

For the past half century there has been almost no similarity between the race cars and the ones you might drive.  I think that is the reason that NASCAR fans have lost interest.

Yep. 283 small block and a powerglide in my 54 F100. 

 

 When someone gives me a hard time about it, i just say “built ford tough with chevy stuff”.
