cleat 9,198 #54 Posted August 31 Governor lever bead blasted and painted. I used chrome paint as that is what I had on hand. Hopefully it will look OK. New bolt and flat washer with the OEM nut. Choke and throttle lever assembly ready to go together. These were painted with the same chrome paint after bead blasting. Choke and throttle lever assembled. New bolt, lockwasher, and flat washer. I managed to get the bottom of the hoods and fenders painted that I had sanded and primed a few days ago. cleat 9,198 #66 Posted yesterday at 06:50 PM Rear end rigged to lift without damaging the fresh paint. I use an engine leveler to tweak the rigging so it sits level. Rear end is now sitting on stands in shop awaiting the assembly that will happen this coming winter. cleat 9,198 #71 Posted 7 hours ago Old rotten tires removed from rear wheels. Inside part of wheel where the tires mount are in absolutely perfect condition. cleat 9,198 #73 Posted 1 hour ago Rear wheels have been wire brushed and sanded. Prime and paint will happen after the tires are mounted. Front wheels have been wire wheeled, sanded, and primed on the tire side as they are very rusty in spots. These will get tubes for sure. Front wheels have been painted on the tire side.
