ebinmaine 79,130 #2 Posted 36 minutes ago Some used a Group 24NF. The "NF" is important. I've been using a much easier to get Group 35 in a couple of my tractors. The 35 is a little narrower than the 24NF so I put a small wooden spacer in the tray to take up the slack. The more important question is, why do you want one when the modern U1 works fine? It is absolutely paramount to make sure ALL your cables and grounds are large enough and in good condition.
Thegearhead0324 1,545 #3 Posted 16 minutes ago In my 1257, I was using a 51 series battery, height was good and the width was shorter so could be moved a bit for clearance of wires and stuff. But then changed it up and now I have a lawn/garden battery hidden under my seat pan.
