C-85 802 #1 Posted 5 hours ago I recently got a little 4hp Wheel Horse (I don't know how else to describe it, maybe an RJ) and hope to restore it, mainly so our future grandchildren nieces and nephews could ride on it someday, plus it would be great to add to the small collection. It is in very rough shape, but should be doable. One of its front wheels is ruined by rust, the rest of it has minor rust. All of it's tires have like new tread, but they are totally rotten and will need to be replaced if I can find them, the rears are 5-12 and the fronts are 4.80/4.00-8. It's not running, and I'm surprised how hard it is to get to its spark plug, with all the things simplified by Wheel Horse, it's hard to access! I'm going to try to load some pictures (I'll try, sometimes they don't work), but I seem to have trouble doing that, I guess this site doesn't like iPhone pictures, so any help for the tractor and pictures would help! I looked all over it and could find its model number, but the Kohler K91 has a clear very readable data plate. Yup, I attempted to load a picture and I don't know the rules to do it successfully, it just shows 'queued' at the bottom. These are JPG and were 5.3 mb, I don't know if this is to big or how to do it One thing I'm not is tech savvy, I'm jealous of those of you that post beautiful pictures! I have posted some pictures in the past and it worked, but have a harder time now and I'm not sure what changed or how to fix! C-

wallfish 20,035 #4 Posted 2 hours ago (edited) That's a 1961 model 401 The front rims rot because they were filled with calcium from the factory to add weight to the front. Kind of surprising they got that bad because those aren't original tires. And the rears should be 6.00-12 tires. Edited 2 hours ago by wallfish
