PTO Switch on Classic GT 315-8

As I was mowing  with my Classic GT 315-8, the cutting deck began to stop periodically, I think due to some issue with the PTO switch. As if the switch was turned off.  To get the PTO engaged and the deck cutting, I would just push the switch in and pull it out again.  Immediately, the deck PTO belt was turning and cutting the grass.  Do these symptoms point to a faulty PTO Switch on the console?  The switch is the original PTO switch on the tractor.

The pto switch gets it's power from the No Mow in Reverse module.

I should rephrase that - gets it's power from the ignition switch but the NMR module controls the pto clutch.
