FLtractor 147 #1 Posted 5 hours ago Afternoon, I cannot find any suitable mounting locations for this facet fuel pump on my 856. Any recommendations? Thought about coil boil, open side hole on frame near the exposed pulleys but awfully close. Thought zip tie and or hose clamp to front axel and extend ground to frame while running positive fuel pump wire to coil.
oliver2-44 11,329 #2 Posted 3 hours ago I suggest you look for a mounting place close to the bottom of the tank. all those electric (and old mechanical ones) were good at pushing gas, not sucking a long distance from tank.

Oh wow I didn’t think it could be mounted that far from carb and that high up.. I was recommended before to mount it low on tractor frame somewhere beneath carb
oliver2-44 11,329 #4 Posted 3 hours ago Low is good, but I've always heard closer to tank, and push not suck. Interested to see what others say.
kpinnc 17,567 #5 Posted 3 hours ago (edited) Get you a couple brass elbows and you can mount it up front. I do suggest you use the included filter that comes with the pump. I made a small L shaped tab and used one oil pan bolt to secure mine on the Bronco. Edited 3 hours ago by kpinnc 1
Mike'sHorseBarn 3,458 #6 Posted 3 hours ago Took a screenshot from a YouTube video for you to look at @VinsRJ put his pump under the tank on his 857 project. That would be a much better spot.
peter lena 9,810 #7 Posted 3 hours ago @FLtractor have my carbole electric / low pressure pump , 2 - 3.5 psi ,mounted similar to @kpinnc up front , also have a fuel filter and check valve there , clear fuel line , so I can see standing fuel up to carb , also have a filter at tank flow start , never had an issue with fuel delivery . use stabil in all my fuels , add an ounce or 2 to every tank top off , instant starts , no debris in filters . replaced fuel lines , before adding sta bil , no debris at all since , its a good swap , pete
