Eaton 1100 hydro control ???'s

Anyone happen to know what the dimensions are of the cam return bearing (item#16) and the control rod end (item#10) is on the Eaton 1100. Also does the cam return Bearing mount on a stud or is it bolted on? My cam control (item#57) has a hole in it where the Bearing goes but thinking there is supposed to be a stud there.  I'm wanting to convert my 520 back from the foot control to the steering column control and these are the only 2 pieces I need to complete the task. BTW I borrowed this pic from another thread and #16 is kind of hid in picture by a red circle :D.

it is welded in.

Never seen one break off, I wonder if someone removed it on purpose for some reason.

Unless you have access to a welder it may be easier to just replace the cam as there should be some of them around.

I guess you could use a shoulder bolt.

I will get you the dimensions tomorrow.

@cleat

Thanks that would help a bunch, I think I can weld one back on or like you mentioned maybe make a shoulder bolt. I would really like for it to go back to neutral when hitting the brakes :auto-layrubber:.

I'd just replace the cam and order a new bearing.  The rod end should be 1/4" with 1/4 - 28 thread.

I personally hate the hand controls.  I've ripped them out of every hydro I've ever bought and replaced them with foot pedals I've built.

There's probably more than one person here that would be interested in your hydro pedal kit if you wanted to sell it.

Here is what your cam should look like.

Disregard the bearing on the far side, that is for my foot control self centering.

This is the welded on post that you are missing.

You should already have the hole in your cam from where it was mounted originally so I don't need to give the dimensions for that.

Post measurements are:

0.49" diameter

0.53" from cam to E-clip groove.

0.70 from cam to end

Roller dimensions are:

0.575" Inside diameter

0.6255" Outside diameter

0.488" long

@cleat thanks a bunch, mine looks to have been broken off fer some reason.:angry-banghead:. I can feel the weld on the back of cam control. I was going to tear into it but cannot find my punches to get E brake handle off. I think I brought them home while I was working on sumin here so maybe they will turn up. Don't suppose you have an extra one laying around (cam control) :handgestures-fingerscrossed:. Would gladly trade my foot control for one of them and the rod end I need.....

Sorry, I don't have a spare that I can part with.

I'm sure someone would love to have a foot control and will take you up on that great offer.
