Beap52 2,122 #1 Posted Tuesday at 11:36 PM I've have a Senior Lifetime Pass that allows me and up to three other adults free or discount access to several National sites. I carry my credit card type pass in my billfold and have concerns that I might loose it, or it becomes unreadable. I was perusing a camping website and found the follow information so I was able to link my physical pass to a digital pass. I printed out the digital pass--you know--just in case. Thanks to whoever provided the following information: I'm usually the last to discover anything new, so my apologies if this has already been posted or is common knowledge. I just learned that it is possible to link my America the Beautiful Senior Lifetime Pass to the app, eliminating the need to have the actual card with you to make a reservation or enter a park. It also allows printing and/or downloading the Pass. Great feature if you forget or lose your card, so now I have a printed copy in the toad and the MH, in case there is no cell service at an entry gate, etc. To link your Pass: Log in to your account at rec.gov, select passes from one of the top right 3 lines, select America the Beautiful Senior Lifetime Pass and enter your pass number. I did this on my laptop, and confirmed that it automatically worked on the app. This can be done thru the app, too. 4

Seriously though, I love that song. Also, what's the cut-off for being a "whippersnapper"? Edited 17 hours ago by adsm08 1

Sorry for the @Beap52, but that Donny kid started it. Nice to know I'm not an old coot yet! And the reason the Lawyers, Doc's and State Troopers are kids is because they want CHEEEEP!! My doc is almost 80 and I've been with him for 21 years. They are forcing him out in favor of a young cheeep doc and PA's and NP's. They want volume which means short visits and on to the next. I saw my doc for the last time last week unless he joins a group somewhere at least 25 miles from the hospital.
rmaynard 17,010 #9 Posted 2 hours ago Back to the pass. I bought my National Park senior pass (top image) back in 2012 when I turned 62. The cost was $10. When my wife went to buy one years later, the cost had risen to $80. So she didn't get one. Fast-forward to 2023, we went to Kitty Hawk. My carload got in free, but our traveling partner, also a veteran, did not. However, the gate keeper told them to go around to the other side of the gatehouse where he was given an America The Beautiful Gold Star and Veteran pass. It was free and good anywhere the National Park pass was accepted. 1
