GT: Nice job on the refit on the steering shaft. It pays to have the right tools. A big :handgestures-thumbupright: up.

With the heims joints you will never have to replace the tie rods again. I replace my first set of tie rods with heims joints 37 years ago. and they are still tight

Here we go, got them both done. Going to pull the front axle to check on the axle pin and spindles see if I can tighten things up.       :USA:

What did you use for tubing to make the tie rods?

@gt14rider  very nice job on that , never had a heim joint fail , initially tried them out on brake and  clutch ends as a trial , that led me to  similar pto lever end rod , just  die nut rethread  over original  3/8 ,x 16 with a 3/8 x 24 fine thread , that simple easy  improvement  helps enhance  engagement  , add in a  battery tray  starting  point on that rod ?, washer  up the  sloppy play  , red grease , the movement  goes fron sloppy  , sudden to  smooth and easy ,  love repetitive problems , eliminate them , pete
