Yes @Ed Kennell does do that, but just watch him. He might try to keep it 😂😂😂. Just kidding, Ed was a huge help in getting my barn find all original C-101 to the Big Show for me! Thanks again Ed 👍🏻

That is in fact the original seat, but not the rear tires. The seat just needed a good cleaning and some love! At the Big Show last year I purchased those tires and rims from Brian Badman not even knowing what I was going to do with them. One of the original rear rims had some rust on it for some reason? When I rolled the wheels from Brian along side this tractor it was a no brainer. The paint was an exact match and the 23x8.50-12 ag tires were a factory option. I wasn’t sure if I was going to leave them on, but I now think I will. 
 As far as the history from Sam, he basically told me everything that he knew about it. The tractor belonged to his coworkers grandfather. The coworker told Sam it had been in the back corner of the barn for as long as he could remember! To me it looks as if he purchased it and parked it. Nubs still on the tires and the paint on the muffler.

Those late 70s C series machines are my personal favorite style. Drives like a new one, looks like the older ones!

Where is it in IN? We are coming that way to the BS but I don't dare offer at this time we might already have a full load. Never know tho things change alot between now and then.

I'm sure you're figgering on the fact that you can grab the tractor for @mrc 's daughter on your way back from the show. But, but, but...... that would take up a spot for new toys you'd want to bring back. Of course if we can get it done at Kevins meet that would be even better. I'm supposed to know by the end of today.

 

Also, the tractor @Toolmanbill is referring to is my 314. He's got second dibs on it. That would be haul it on your way to the show only.

If this purchase gets more serious and travel is the only hold up, keep us posted.  My transportation for the Big Show has not yet been established this year.  I have some other items already sold and dedicated to delivery, so room and trailer real estate is not pinned down.

Well, we have the toy hauler and the Turd on the way out after plow day, there’s a different diesel pusher in Colorado waiting for us, and I’d love to end up with an enclosed trailer to pull, but that’s all subject to a handful of variables.  So we may have tractors under the belly of the second new coach, or in the 5x10 trailer, or inside their own mobile home

Ya know Kevin, you're only about an hour away from the RV capital of the world, right? 

 

 I can be left out of the transportation conversation. The 314 is officially sold with a check, foot pedal kit, frame support and seat reinforcements on the way. Jim and I will work out transportation details during your plow days. I'm not sure if I'll be coming all the way but we'll see how my system is working when the time gets closer.
