856 part for plug

Question,

My 856 stopped running the wire on top of the spark plug is loose won’t stay on should snap or click on top of the spark plug buts original and wore out. Help where can I get one and what kind?

Auto parts stores can make you one. Otherwise @squonk has them.

I use the coil wire from a 1960's to 70's Ford Econoline 6 cylinder. Right length, fits well...

Rather well actually. Used a NAPA part, so no Ford recall.....

Mine runs better with the Ford part than with the one it replaced.

I believe the original wires were 7 mm. I bought some recently. They were an off brand on eBay. I have them on two different tractors. They seem to be working well.

Not sure, never measured the outside casing. They are copper core wires not graphite core.

Ah, I wonder if running copper causes any interesting electrical interference to any modern electronics. I know it’ll drive an AM radio to static.
