stellardtg11 12 #1 Posted 10 hours ago Hey there , after a few years of lurking and finding a great wealth of knowledge here , I signed up lol. Great people and intel on here , thanks for all you've helped me with so far without even knowing !! A friend got me into the hobby a few years ago and I ended up getting the bug. I have a few projects at the moment , but my pride and joy is my mowing unit , a 1974 C100 with a 16hp swapped , outfitted to mow and bag with a 37" (?) side discharge deck. Had a few others in and out for accessories , but the rest of my stable includes a 604 I stuck a 8hp in and made it pull start and put a plow on. That one will be getting different tires , a weight mount , etc. A B80 I am in the process of making mid-mount with a 4hp Yanmar diesel and still be able to mow. A clean C160 auto that donated the 16hp to my mower , and another C160 auto that's a bit beat that will be a donor for engine and hydraulics to the clean C160. Only a few tractors but plenty to do haha !! Hopefully I'll 'finish' one of these projects this year !! But my C100 is pretty much there minus maybe sealing the patina and going through the mower deck. This Yanmar IS indeed NEW, a friend found it on Marketplace local here on Long Island over the summer and sent me the link. Got it for cheap, guy who had it bought it brand new however many years ago to do a go-kart project with, never got around to it, and was getting ready to move cross country, so I snagged it up. I didn't realize some of the stuff I had laying around was actually sort of rare, so I hope this helps clear some much needed space up for me as well as helps some people with builds or repairs! I had no idea until recently that the two-spoke 3-series steering wheels split from time to time, so I hope and feel that this stuff can help someone else!! Don I think we may have met at one of the LI Antique Power Association shows this summer, are you the Don that had the super low hours, super mint 520-HSE signed BY Cecil, and your friend on your super clean 101?? If that IS you, I'm the one you picked out of the crowd from my Wheel Horse hat and had that C100 mower there with me lol!!
