74 C-160 Just quit after a great start.

I was plowing with my C-160 (relatively new to me) and it was performing like a champ.  I parked it after a second go round at the snow and took a nap.  Woke up went out to do a little more and it would not lift and then I noticed it would not roll either.  The fluid looks perfect in the hydro.

Hoping someone has an "ah haa!" quick fix.  My toys broken.

Thanks!

Yes.  Hydro Sustrand.  Having trouble finding the tow valve.  Going back out to inspect.

Belt tensioning spring broke.

Roll pin on left side of the clutch cross shaft.

Input pulley key.

The push valve is not moving without soaking in PB blaster.  I don't see any exposed pullys or

belts to tell if it's turning.  Did fully engage the lever again just for certainty.

Thanks!

First, like Paul said, with the engine running and the Hydro engaged, look for the transmission pulley behind the  front of the rear right tire.  It should be turning.

And make sure the shaft the pulley is on is turning with it.

It's a miracle.  I disengaged the mechanism in the pic above and re-engaged it and Shazaam!

Thanks for your help Guys.  I saw everything turning as expected.

Thanks so much.

Time to get some grease on the levers and spring.

Definitely will.  The snow got heavy during my delay.  Love that C-160.
