JoeM 9,426 #4 Posted 3 hours ago One thing I have done in the past, is to adjust my tip on blade to match how much shoe is contacting the ground. I plow both gravel and asphalt drive ways. The blade has a rubber edge. I tip it back for the gravel allowing the shoes to contact the ground and forward for the asphalt. It worked good. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

It worked good. @squonk posted in another thread about using piece of pvc split down middle and slipped over blade and cutting edge that I may try if I ever get a piece of pipe. My only worries is the buildup of snow on top of pipe but will be using the 1257 with the HY2 unit so not to worried about it. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
