Webrx 0 #1 Posted 4 hours ago Hi, new guy here. I have a few older cubs and a GT14. The GT was an engine and trans on a rolling frame so it’s mostly just a shell. I bought it for the engine but found it won’t work in the project I had. So, I decided to see if the trans works. My intent is to use it as a trailer puller and maybe do a little snow plowing. The pressure hydraulic hose was there but the return was missing. So, I looped the hose from pressure to return, replaced filter and fluids and put it on jack stands. Fired it up, had motion in fwd and reverse but the hoses leak pretty good. 2 questions. 1. is looping this hose going to cause an issue assuming I can stop the leaks. 2. Is it ok to plug the hydraulics off if I don’t intend to use them just now, assuming I can find plugs that are right size. thanks in advance for any info.
