When implements are connected at their correct arms to the mid-tractor rock shaft on my 854 and on our 300 and 500 tractors the directions are consistent. If it was otherwise, lifting with the “arm strong” tractors wouldn’t work for all implements. How do your implements link to the rock shaft? sqrlgtr 1,254 #9 Posted 23 hours ago (edited) Lift from mid-tractor rock shaft/bell crank. I v Haven't even paid any attention to the rear hitch it may be bass ackwards . I have since replaced thes olid lift link with chain for snow removal, but you get the idea. Edited 23 hours ago by sqrlgtr

The downward-facing arm lifts the blower (by pushing it at the bottom) and generator (similar to blower). It also lifts the rear attachment by pulling on the cable to the rear rockshaft. On “arm strong” tractors, pulling the lift lever rotates the rock shaft so that the two arms do their respective jobs. On hydros, the hydraulic cylinder does the pulling. I believe Don was asking about how they are connected differently with the linkage or something in order to achieve the different lift directions of the hydro lever for those 2 different implements. Not so much what the hardware is. Now I'm curious as well.
sqrlgtr 1,254 #13 Posted 50 minutes ago Snapped pic of current set up for snow plow and conformed rear hitch works same as decal indicates also.
