kpinnc 16,293 #3 Posted November 22 I will never understand the reasoning behind people painting RJs green. I get what the PO was going for, just don't know why. I had a green one myself. Otherwise it was in decent shape. 2 hours ago, Chrishar said: Bought this about three years ago finally got all the parts I needed to put this rj together Looks like it will make a fun project! John Deere had the patio tractors for a year, They didn't sell that well and a bunch had to be repainted at the dealers to sell. I guess green paint sells?

No other real difference, but they were called "Patio" tractors. 5 1

As stated by @kpinnc, some were repainted in order for them to sell. They have since become a big JD collector item. One of the hardest things to find for them is the seat. With out the correct color seat it is not a correct patio. 5

Lane Ranger 11,682 #16 Posted December 7 The RJ lift handle spring is a pretty simple arrangement when you see the spring removed from the lift handle. I have two new springs and a couple of photos of the lift handle location where they get installed ! A bolt and cotter key have to be removed to place a new spring in for the lift bar to work on the lift handle.

HF has one sumin similar and was thinking about getting one, I hate wollering around on floor trying to weld stuff and would like being able to fold that up and keep it out of the way when not in use.
