Lift Bar for 6-7121 dozer blade

Recommended Posts

Hey all, curious if anyone knew any specs about this lift bar fo the 6-71-21 Dozer Blade.  I managed to track one down for my charger 8 but it did not come with the lift bar.  I know the part number is Toro 104003 but idk anything about length or what it actually looks like outside of the diagram. I'm trying to avoid making one so if anyone has one I can buy or if you know if there is one that will work on wheel horse parts give me a hollar.  I know I can fab one up but I just am very limited on (reno'ing my house)

I believe I have what you need.  My manual lists it as Item #8172.  I can get you the dimensions if you would like or you can have this one (It has been modified but is functional). The issue is I don't know how to get it to you. I am in NE Ohio. I had this blade on my Charger 8 and then modified it to fit my 310-8. Be glad to help any way I can.

Thanks! Im originally from Lodi actually, my parents live in Wadsworth.  I don’t want to inconvenience ya in figuring out to send it.  I am open to maybe working something out around the holiday but if you could send me the dimensions that would be cool because then maybe I could just cross reference it was something on eBay to make everybody’s life easier lol I appreciate your response. I just didn’t know if there was like an offset because I think it’s slightly bent, but I’m not sure. I have a charger 8 that I wanna push some stuff around with this winter so trying to get it lined up I missed out last year.

Just to verify, this refers to Item # 28 in the manual.

1 1/2 by 3/8 bar stock.

OAL = 22 7/8.

All dimensions are from end with (2) 27/64 holes.

23/32 to ctr. of first hole.

1 11/32 to ctr. of second hole.

21 27/32 to ctr. of 11/16 hole.

My bar is straight.

 I think this gives you the dimensions you need. If not, let me know.

@tstab your  squeeze lever , blade swing control , operates the  SWING QUADRANT PIN , and related spring , that spring  runs the entire  movement cycle ?  # 22 bolt , changed to a shoulder bolt and elastic Lok nut , lets you dial in exact , squeeze , pull / push  right hand swing action . also like red aerosol  grease  at every movement  stage . sounds like a rifle bolt . plows are a gold mine for correction / improvement  , lots to do  and relatively easy , pete

@tstab  done a number of plows ,  mower decks , blowers  , always removing / improving  failure areas . trying to  find my original  write up / picture reference . another thing I  suggest  is to  use a bench or  roller stool , so you can easily  verify what's going on  , when you are comfortably  looking at / for a problem its easier  then standing on your head . found one , functional detailing  , makes every stage smooth / solid / easy . first picture insures smooth / easy lever work . shoulder bolt in that  , lets you dial in a perfect swing . pete
