What are you all using for snowplow blade shoes?

These were priced right, but I had to add a sleeve to get the ⅝” shaft up to ¾” for the holder.

After using it last winter, I decided that I’ll modify the holder brackets to have the shoe’s shaft be more vertical (right now the top tilts frontward too much) since I like to have the blade top tilted forward a bit.

Been going shoeless for years but the thought of shoes has crossed my mind since I will be running the 1257 with the hy unit this year. @squonk have any trouble shedding snow with the pvc edge? I do like the thoughts of it being easier on the pavement.

I use it to keep from digging into the gravel.

cool. I have gravel drive going to shop and would be perfect for that. Never would have crossed my mind to do this but may give it a try.

Yes but with hyd. lift it's hard to control the blade height so I clear off what I can then get the 857 with a solid link, regular plow edge and the dial a height to finish it off,

None. Concrete drives (3), so no shoes... just wear bar.
