A couple of weeks ago we got a six speed that we are planning to put in our 854 and make it and 864. We found after tearing it apart last weekend that it has the wrong axles and now we are waiting for axles from ebay to ship. Last week and weekend I painted a bunch of random knick paddy whack parts.

Don't forget to chase the threads in the hubs before assembly. And check the free fit of the hubs on the axles - that overspray in the bores will most likely have to go too....

And then the other day I also used some brake clean and wiped away someone's attempt to do the Kohler lettering and redid myself with a white paint marker

I like that off-white seat. Gives good contrast to the sea of red.

I used Rusty Ivory white and it looks a lot better than before because before a po painted very white and I'll have to  post some comparison photos of it later once I go outside and can take a picture of it now.

Yep.  We like the slightly tan whites here too.

Trina and I use Rust-Oleum 2X Cottage white.

It's a lighter tan than ivory.

Compared to the red supporter status I presume you mean @ebinmaine @702854boy :handgestures-thumbupright:

@Vinylguy will fix you up for sure. I thought about an “864" decal for mine but I’ve decided that since the original 854 decal is in great shape, I’m leaving it. 😁

We have a second belt guard that I could clean up and paint and the stickers all mellowed because of the two piece gas tank now that I think about it because our 854 logo is also in pretty good condition.

You could always name it and have that as a decal on the left side linkage cover! Terry is very open to custom stuff even using what WH “font”.

I've used furniture paste wax and a buffing wheel but mine were not too badly weathered. I’m sure other members will have more ideas!

Got some stuff in the mail today. Dad's thinking about taking them to work so he can put them in a lathe and polish them up a little bit.
