bc_gold 123 #1 Posted Thursday at 11:08 PM (edited) Landfill score, someone had discarded the cast iron frame from a Singer sewing machine. Brought it home then cut the trade mark logo from the casting. Gave one to a buddy his wife wants him to clean up the rough edges, she wants to use it in the kitchen to set a hot pot onto. Get the iron cherry red, rub with bee's wax, the iron will suck the wax into the pores to seal it. Leaves a nice semi gloss finish that is fairly durable. I good demo of natural finishes.
