Pullstart 70,085 #176 Posted Tuesday at 02:34 PM Pictures of my “lawn” coming in. Yes, we did pick up about 100 square foot of free sod, so there is some new grass between the driveway and concrete.
SylvanLakeWH 31,518 #177 Posted Tuesday at 02:53 PM The seed will grow... just gotta keep it wet, always... I seeded a huge area of former wood chips... lousy soil prep... kept it wet, its completely covered now...
Pullstart 70,085 #178 Posted Tuesday at 04:06 PM I like quick improvements I suppose. Top exterior piping is finished and in the paint booth. We used this same paint to refinish the diving board. If it’s not 100% match to the shed, it’ll match something at least!
Pullstart 70,085 #179 Posted Tuesday at 04:09 PM I’m sure I’ve mentioned this, but there is a valve that I will be able to control how much water goes to the roof, how much simply returns to the pool. The supply pipe will feed the bottom of the manifold and has a 2” check valve as well, to keep the system full. Winterizing plans will include this tee to drain the system, and I’ll be able to blow air into the rest to empty the majority. RV antifreeze will be strategically pumped in to prevent any freezing from possible condensate entry too.
953 nut 66,521 #180 Posted yesterday at 12:10 AM Kevin, I know you have a well deserved reputation for being an accident looking for a place to happen, BUT do you need five wheel chairs? 1
Pullstart 70,085 #181 Posted 1 hour ago I got in the pool yesterday for the first time all year. Not due to temperature or lack of, but lack of time it seems. The solar cover is doing a good job keeping temp in on the cool nights and keeping evaporation down during the day. The issue with the cover however, is it needs attached to the roller for one person operation. Yesterday I layer out my center, marked every two feet, and have 10 new straps on the way to span between the 18 foot of roller. I masking taped the cover to the roller for concept and was able to roll it up effortlessly. After Jada cut the new cover square, of course.
Pullstart 70,085 #182 Posted 1 hour ago Oh, and the solar panel on the roof is pumping the heat out well! It was fun to feel the difference in the jet areas vs the non-jet areas. 1
