I don’t schedule many customer projects, when there’s a major undertaking like this to make Momma happy. I do have an Equinox that needs a fuel pump and a Subaru that needs a power steering pump and a few other things.

Pullstart 67,332 #30 Posted September 3 Rain delay… which is fine for a mid day coffee break. My shop’s a mess and I’ll spend the afternoon working in there doing some tidy work. I need to fab up a diving board anchor too, once I get the shop in ship shape.
Pullstart 67,332 #31 Posted September 3 I have been asking my concrete guy questions and guidance along the way. Friday was the plan for him to come set forms, but this rain delays him a bit. Friday is Grandma’s funeral service and I wouldn’t have been available to help or answer/ask questions. That’s been pushed to Monday, which is great! I was stressing over this not being adequate to make a great pour. He assured me that the efforts I’ve put into the job have far exceeded where he would normally start. He has all week next week set aside for this job only and he won’t allow the project to fail. Monday is setup day. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday if needed, we’ll pour. Thursday/Friday, we clean up and cut lines. Yay! 2

Pullstart 67,332 #34 Posted September 4 Cleaned up the shop yesterday and rocked out a fuel pump in an equinox. Two sending units? What? Silliness.
Handy Don 14,244 #35 Posted September 4 Haven’t seen a plate compactor in use yet in any of your vids. I am hoping the excavation contractor is compacting in layers on the backfills. Just running a bobcat back and forth isn’t generally considered adequate compaction of soil.

Typically they both display the same resistance range and then whatever module is responsible for monitoring that averages the readings. Brilliant from an engineering stand point, stupid in the real world. I've seen more than one where the side that's just a sender hangs, or the transfer tube fails and fuel isn't pumped from the far side, and the gauge says 1/2 a tank, but you run out of fuel. Pullstart 67,332 #39 Posted September 6 My A/C system is a year old. I was able to use the compressor to pump the Freon out of the line set and shut it down, then un-sweat the lines for a clean disconnect.

I have stay-silv flux and silver solder in my plumber’s crack box to get it back together. 3

Pullstart 67,332 #44 Posted Monday at 09:14 PM The concrete guys were here today. They loved the prep work and have an amazing 4 pours in three days plan! but first…
Pullstart 67,332 #45 Posted Monday at 11:05 PM This is the general drawing of the pool plan. We ended up moving the pool house back 3’ for a larger gap between the diving board and the pool house doors. The pool house will now be 8’x24’x10’ sidewall. Tomorrow we pour the blue section. Wednesday morning the red sections, and in the afternoon the green. Thursday morning we finish with the yellow. Hopefully when we’re done, the rainbow will all be grey scale!
