Dan 312-8 104 #5 Posted 7 hours ago @c-series don very cool! Thank you for posting. You know you are getting older when three aircraft you have worked on are now represented in a museum... F-14 Tomcat (Anytime Baby!), AH-1 Cobra, and UH-1 Huey. The F-14 from VF-143, squadron name, "The Puking Dogs" Dan 2
Treepep 681 #6 Posted 46 minutes ago Very cool. Many thanks! Dad and granddad were Air force. Grampa was a pilot, Dad was a Mechanic. Growing up in the Midwest we would go to S.A.C museum and airshows. Folks would gather around to listen to them thinking they worked there being so knowledgeable. As a kid it made little sense. Just proud and could not comprehend how they gathered so much information about aircraft. Thanks, Great memories!
