I got a pair of skinny's (narrow rims) I can trade him if he wants to do that. But surely he would have some in his tire pile haha.

The mower deck not fitting under the stirrups is the sign of a horse yearning for the plow

Mower.....

The BBT and I have had Wheelhorses since 2016 or 17.

We've never even tried a mower until this year.  B)

Wadda you gonna do with a mower EB ... Mow rocks?!?!?:ychain:

I put the pic of the dealer sticker in the dealer thread Kev.

I don't know about you guys but if I came across a barn find with dueling tombstones I woulda immediately let the moths out of the wallet.

Did the seller know he was sitting on the holy grail of :wh: collectibles Kev?

Kinda strange tho he had them on that model tractor.

They were on there because this was powering a tiller last.  Keeping the front end planted was priority.  :handgestures-thumbupright:

Our pool leak is taking the majority of my time, but a good tractor shine, tune and trail ride for a few minutes was just what the doctor ordered.

The mixture screws were backed out pretty far, and it would occasionally stumble pretty hard.  I brought them both out to 1-3/4 turns and played with it from there.  It seems much happier!

I swapped a set of 23x10.50 Deestones on the rear.  While the tires were off, I also finished screwing the fenders to the tool box.  Since I cut so much of the box away, I used a long piece of 3/8” threaded rod across the front fender braces to hold everything together, with jamb nuts inside and out of the sheet metal.

I had thoughts of another stack on this.  The muffler has a crack in the side but still has a decent tone.  I decided I will leave it well alone until a change is necessary.

Sweet. Looks like I’ve got a bit more stockpiling to do so I can build a few cool ones. Nice work!:handgestures-thumbupright:

I need to mow out back in a bad way.  I figured I’d do that before it gets too hot out, then do some shop work ( @ebinmaine  :handgestures-thumbupright:). My B-121 has left me giving mouth to mouth a couple times.  The 42” deck does not fit that well under this 1445.  The deck shell touches the back tires and the foot rests don’t fit.  So I decided I should run the front mount on the 1445 to see how that works.  The only remaining issue is that the aftermarket car that came on this occasionally floods out bad.  I have adjusted the float level and it helped, but sometimes it just floods, even on smooth, level ground.  I sold Rebel this morning as a roller but before, I took the engine out.  I nabbed the carb and oil bath air cleaner (my favorite air cleaner style) and test fit it.  So far, so good!  I’ll toss the deck on and get chopping!

I finally after all these years, have broken a belt!  I saw it twisting and hopping, then sent it flying but soon after found a nice used one hanging on the wall.  A little more fuel and I am back at it!

I had to lean out this carb a bit to make it run smooth, but it’s rocking and rolling!  I love it, even with the electric clutch.

The clamp U bolt snapped.  I had some 1/4” threaded rod.  It’s about 3-9/8” too long on either side, but it works!

@Pullstart , looks good ,got any penetrating oil , mineral oil ?  hot metal , sun soak in , would probably give that a perfect  era patina , look . days on each phase , once paint comes out  , a 6" electric  palm buffer , with a cleaner wax , makes for a deep finish  , regularly rub down my recovered paints , with  a mineral oil clean cloth , then dry clean cloth , paint stays clean  and shinny , sheds moisture like a duck , once you recover any paint you are hooked , pete

Having that big seat spring, I can see myself doing lots of chores on it.  Plus the parking pawl actually works, and neutral is spot on too!

I got too comfortable with this one.  Comfortable enough to be negligent and ignorant.  That comfy seat really bucked me off!

Fell off my 1445 story here.

I got that seat from @TonyToro Jr. at the Big Show, and the color is really appealing to me on this one.  It was the perfect saddle for this Horse!  Electric start and hydro? Yeah that’s different indeed for me!
