Gettysburg Axel 4 #1 Posted June 22 Hi I have a question about the gt14 transmissions. Are you able to use them in other tractors. I have a commando 800 I swapped an automatic transmission from a b100 but I’m looking to add a hydraulic lift for it. I know you can swap in the parts to add it. could you use the parts from a gt transmission or would it be easier to swap the gt transmission in to it. I have two spare transmissions from different gt tractors. I know they have the larger axle diameter but they should be the 1 1/8 inch axles the same as a spare 8 speed transmission I have also. So I’ll have the 5 lug hubs to keep my current tires I have on it. Any help or advice would be appreciated. I added a picture of the 800 in question as well as my other current projects
Achto 29,539 #2 Posted June 22 I am not familiar enough with the GT14 to answer your question. Someone should be along who knows though.
953 nut 60,910 #3 Posted June 23 The gear ratio on theGT-14 is not toe same as a B-100 and would be slower with 12" tires as a result,. @daveoman1966 can fill you in on the parts to swap from the GT-14.

Cool projects and Just to clarify, I have very little experience with the gt14 transmission. If you recall mine was trash. So everything I own has an Eaton 1100 in it. 😁
gt14rider 960 #6 Posted June 24 (edited) Good morning, I have a manual on hydraulic lift, but can't figure out how to move it here. Hope this helps. It has some part #s and picture of insulation. Edited June 24 by gt14rider
