You also live at the other end of the area. I live in Dillsburg (you know, you've been to my house), work in Carlisle, attend church near CV high school, my kids do their scout meetings at West Shore E-free, take their violin lessons from a private instructor in Churchtown my sister-in-law lives in Boiling Springs, my in-laws just moved from Carlisle to Newville, and I fish the Yellow Breeches from Williams Grove to Mt. Holly Springs. The disruption caused by this bridge project is almost exactly in the geographic center of my life.
GlenW 40 #27 Posted Friday at 01:22 AM I’ve driven by the grounds several times on my way to Gettysburg from Shippensburg on my work route. I have to take 15 down from my place in Thompsontown.

I hope the "picnic table of knowledge" will still be in session tonight. I haven't gone around back yet to find the table. @stevebo - Snowplow pickup at baggage carousel 6? @Pullstart - I have your transmission / rims / tires for your commander. Dan M - let me know when you're here so I may buy that bracket. Your plow is here waiting for you!

GlenW 40 #33 Posted 1 hour ago Well, we had a good time at the show. I enjoyed how friendly it is and how no one seemed to talk smack about others tractors. Buddy’s tractor is definitely nicer than mine, but I noticed there were a lot of tractors that looked well used but ran great.

Buddy’s tractor is definitely nicer than mine, but I noticed there were a lot of tractors that looked well used but ran great. It is a great time, and very friendly. My favorite thing is how "loose" they are with rules. No admissions, no registrations, nobody policing the age of the drivers, as long as they are capable, just show up with your WH and let people check it out, cruise around, have fun. So many other shows my son can't drive the tractors "because he isn't old enough". People are interested in seeing the tractors, and comparing in a this vs that, or I haven't seen that way, but not "mine's better than yours". That, and it feels safe. I take the keys out of mine when I leave them unattended, but that's because my key is on a JD fob. I have no illusions that taking the key makes it "safe" except from maybe an unattended child, as there are probably hundreds of the exact same key wandering around, but I also don't worry that it won't be right where I left it.
