Achto 29,162 #2 Posted May 18 My pulling tractor "Horse Apples" This tractor is made from many tractors. C-101,Raider 12, 1257, etc. Engine is a "stock'ish" K321 from a Quiet Line Cub Cadet. Tins on it are from the K241 that was removed from the tractor. Hand made F-plate re-enforcement also holds the mid mounted weights. Custom extendable weight bracket on the front will move the weight 2ft out in front of the tractor. Rear fender pan raised 1/2" to make room for the 26x12x12 tires on the back. Brake peddle converted to a gas peddle. Let's not forget the comfy bare aluminum seat. Custom stainless dash that narrowed things down to the bare necessities, toggle switch for ignition, starter button and choke knob. Custom hitch with adjustable height. Wheelie bars to keep the front down to a safe height. A tether switch that is tied to the eliminator. If my tractor should come unhooked the tether will be pulled killing the ignition and fuel pump. 6

kpinnc 14,128 #5 Posted May 19 (edited) Everything I got has been modified... I'll stick to the bigger mods: 1. Bronco 14 has a 3 point running on a secondary hydraulic circuit. LEDs all around. 2. 310-8 is now a 14hp v-twin powered with the heavier 1.125 axles on the tranny. Heavy duty rear hitch fabbed up. LEDs here as well. 3. My son's Ranger has a K181 engine, heavy rear hitch, and an 8 speed. 4. My 523-H is a complete mash up of several machines. It has the 23hp Vanguard, a foot control on the hydro, and another fabbed rear hitch. LEDs front and back. And of course Terry made me some custom decals. 5. And my current mod project will have another V-twin, 520 front axle, and a fabbed manual lift with a 3 point. Complete unmolested machines down here are pretty rare, so I tend to just make these machines work how I like. It never hurts to personalize right? squonk 43,193 #7 Posted May 19 (edited) Cents @WHX?? calls me a "sally" I decided to quit burning my leg on my Suburban and fabbed up a 2nd Air Gap exhaust pipe shield. Works pretty slick keeping the drumstick from getting over done! And Sense I don't want said drumstick ground into Chicken Salad. I fabbed a belt guard out of another tractor guard that made a few trips up and down the East coast! Edited May 19 by squonk 4

Lee1977 7,103 #10 Posted May 21 (edited) My C-120/180 - 8 bought it new in 1977 was my main mowing tractor for years. It was slowly transformed over the years as parts wore out. It has 3500# front axles hubs and 6ply 16 x 6.50 x 8 tires and 5 lug wheels. Then went to 1/2" heims joints on the tie rods. Rebuilt the axle pivot with over sized pin and thicker bushing in the front hitch. Next was a 16 HP Briggs Vanguard that I went off a bank and broke the oil pan, had that welded used it for another few years until it open a crack and I didn't check it in time. Some where 90's I busted a bearing in the transmission and replace all the bearing in it. The steering was up graded to the lower shadt with the 3/4"nut and cotter pin.. 2010 I replaced it with a 18 Briggs Vanguard. The PTO lever shaft and the Clutch shaft I installed brass bushings. There is also a frame brace. Edited May 21 by Lee1977 3

I've never owned a 953/1054 just because they don't share much with other models. There was one for sale here a few years ago. Your trike makes me wish I'd bought it. It looks really good like that.
