This little creature has been on my window all day.   I spritzed him with water and he moved a bit.  Is he in distress? What to do for him?

That's my fat finger for size reference.

He's probably OK.  The window might be warming him.  :eusa-think:

@Ed Kennell  nature is a wonderful thing  , had one on a tree next to the shed, they hide in plane sight , was looking at a  cardinal  in full bloom , right next to the frog , turned around to get  something  , they were both gone , humming birds are the deal , we were in arizona , small town leaving flagstaff , drive down into the desert , you just had to stop , hummers were everywhere, every color  , size / type , also saw a  mountain lion , in the shade . pete

Yep.

Them are LOUD for a frog.

Love the frogs here.

We now have an added accidental 3rd frog pond.

This here's a wicked big pile o'  eggs.

Either frogs or small salamanders. Most likely spring peeper frogs.

Pretty cool little frogs. Usually green in NC from what I've seen and lots of them here. Haven't really heard them yet this year but they rule the sound waves in the summer evenings. It's pretty common that we get one on a kitchen window where light draws bugs at night.

Those are bull frog eggs I believe Eric. Keep an eye out for what finds them...sometimes they slither. :scared-yipes:

We get one in the house in the fall once in a while. Hiding in a plant brought in from the cold.

They are LOUD indoors!

We have plenty of frogs and very few snakes.

There are no poisonous snakes in Maine (anymore).

We'd love to see more snakes here for better pest control.

Give 'em a kiss, You never know what might happen.  I googled "kiss a frog" and never knew it could have so many meanings or metaphors.  Cute little feller.

We've been camping several times down there at Bear Brook State Park.

Couple three years ago we were hauling all the stuff in to the remote site late Friday evening.

I'd set down in my big Bear 🐻 chair for a rest.

It was PITCH BLACK dark.

I felt something land on my chest.

It was one of these here cute little gray tree frogs.

Didn't know that. :text-offtopic: (sorry to derail) We have quite a few in NC and a lot of friendlies that are good for keeping the pests in check. They were fat and happy last year when the cicadas were blanketing us. They didn't put much of a dent that population but they sure did eat well.

Bear Brook in NH, in Pembroke?

I lived just across the road for years.

We have green and the white ones. The white tree frogs are LOUD.

The green frogs stay closer to the ground. Damp corners of your outside structures. The white ones like to be up high in hardwoods.

Did you ever swim in the lake?  Bottom spring fed.

It's "invigorating", even on the hottest days!

I haven't. .. we avoid the humans. :)

The times we've stayed there have all been at a remote camping site. 🏕

We primarily go to walk around and also put some miles on our mountain bikes.

And relax.......
