c-series don 9,456 #1 Posted April 12 I’m looking into purchasing a C-Series and was wondering if anyone would be coming from that direction going to the show. Looks to be about 20 minutes south of the PA turnpike. I would be willing to compensate you for time/fuel. Thanks

Ed Kennell 40,559 #6 Posted April 12 Don, If the boys coming from the West can't pick it up on their way to the show, I will probably by hunting turkey near Meyersdale ,Pa. some time in late May . 3

c-series don 9,456 #9 Posted April 13 (edited) I’m sorry Jim!! But I didn’t want to post anything until I knew the purchase was going through and it is. Besides a C-161 Twin 8-Speed this tractor will make my collection of 1978-79 C-Series tractors complete. This C-101 appears to be 100% original, a true barn find. I’m very happy to be able to add it to my collection. Shows no wear at all on the PTO pulley or the drawbar. The nubs are on the original tires and the original seat has no cracks or tears. The gentleman I purchased it from couldn’t have been nicer, and really wanted it to go to a good home where it would be cared for properly. Honestly I can’t wait to give it a thorough cleaning and service, where it will live happily amongst its C-Series peers! Pullstart 64,645 #10 Posted April 14 @JoeM? Is this anywhere near you? @c-series don I have no idea what we are hauling out to the show this year, or who’s coming along with me. Between @Achto, @WHX?? and I, we can get it to you in a wheelbarrow easy peasy! 1
SylvanLakeWH 27,601 #11 Posted April 14 @Pullstart will be right over... he's making a small firewood delivery to @Achto and @WHX??... Dan apparently needed some more firewood...

A meet up on Rt 40 or Interstate 68 would be nice. I am not sure about the show this year. I am looking at heading into OH and IN this year. If I do come out it will be a day trip to shuffle some parts.
WHX?? 50,786 #13 Posted April 20 (edited) Did we ever nail this down Don? I would suggest seeing if Ed dog can get it since he will be near it first. If he can't for whatever reason plan B is Dan and I. Don't have a plan C ... Maybe Joe?? Sure is a nice tractor ... looks to be all original, complete and unmolested. WHX?? 50,786 #23 Posted April 25 Second look that is a nice tractor ... What's he paying you Ed I'll double it ... 'Course I had a 160 that nice I would end up Pullstartasizing it and turn it into a plow mule. Way too nice a tractor for that. Then again a 160-8 is on the bucket list 1
JoeM 7,942 #24 Posted Friday at 09:43 PM this man is wanted in coinection with an ambush near the Pa Turnpike. Apparently, he was one laying in wait and gimping hard left in hot pursuit of a WH Tractor. The assailant got away with the rare machine. No injuries reported. There is a reward. One flat of Oreo cookies (double stuff) If anyone has info call 555-1212 Can be baited with BBQ! 1
c-series don 9,456 #25 Posted Saturday at 01:01 PM You guys crack me up!🤣 Luckily for me, Ed and I have formulated a plan. However, I hope this banter will continue!! I’m really looking forward to getting this tractor so I can service it and give it an excessive cleaning and detailing. Then I’ll decide what I’m going to use it for. One of the things it’s going to be used for is to make me happy, because I’m pretty sure that once it’s cleaned up I’m going to look at it and say “Damn, that’s a nice tractor!” Don’t get me wrong, it’s still nice with dust on it!😁 Thank you guys for offering to help me with this, you are the best!👍🏻
