Handy Don 13,465 #77 Posted May 7 Noting a couple of the early posts about tractor-mounted screw splitters, I saw this at last weekend’s Zagray Farm show. Belt input to a couple of chain sprocket reductions under the covers. The ramps behind the screw are to force the log apart and the vertical pipe is to prevent it from spinning--according to the seller who said it was last used on a Wheel Horse (color me skeptical--he could see I was riding a Wheel Horse 😁). 1 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
