2025 Big Show Buy/Trade/Sell Thread

Recommended Posts

I’ll have this fairly nice 1642 at the show.  I’d like to have $750.00 for it.  Runs and drives good.  New carburetor and fuel pump.

Make a reasonable offer.  Least I can say is no. Could be open for round hood trades as well

Just 3/8 1 inch bolts and a long bolt for the hole in the bottom of your weight.   You have to make sure the long bolt is set so the nut or bolt head does not hit the bottom of your hood!

A rare , rare item is coming to the Big Show and will be for sale in Lane Ralph’s canopy on Thursday!

Rodney Burger is bringing from Florida an RJ 35 hood!

You will need to see Rodney (lawnman_56) for the pricing!

In addition,  an RJ reverse pulley (still on a motor). Will be sold for $400.

Richard (953) described it well:

The engine pulley on the RJ-35 has a brass ring embedded into it that contacts the variable speed pulley causing it to rotate backward, that is how you go in reverse. There is a member here who has reproduced them from time to time, if you place a "Wanted" ad in the classified section he may have one left.

Joe Papke in Michigan was still making some of these a couple years ago!

There is an RJ-25 and an RJ-35 with the 2 and 3 describing the approximate engine horse power.

The RJ-25 may have been built 1955-56 using Briggs & Stratton Model 8 2-1/2hp

The RJ-35 was sold in 1955 using Kohler 3.6hp K90-27107D with a Schnacke recoil or Clinton 3.6hp B1200-152 3.6hp

1956 used Kohler 3.6hp K90-27107D with a Schnacke recoil or Clinton 3.6hp B1200-152, B1200-184, B1200-2184. Late 1956 with Clinton 1200-2184 used Fairbanks-Morse recoil. Clinton 1200-152 and 1200-184 used Schnacke recoil

1957 used Kohler 3.6hp K90-27107D with a Schnacke recoil or Clinton 3.6hp B1200-2184. Early 1957 with Clinton 1200-2184 used Fairbanks-Morse recoil

This is from notes I have kept from the more knowledgeable.

You can download the manual from the Files of
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/wheelhorsetractormanuals/
named
Tractor 1955-57 Ride-Away Jr.pdf

I believe they did have a reverse. It may have been a brass disc that ran against one of the pulleys.

Good running C-160 Hydro for sale!  AS PICTURED since the videos, this has been cleaned, seat swapped, and rear fender changed out as well.  Brand new battery today, 42” SD deck cuts well, hydro lift and low back Wheel Horse branded seat.  $650.  I’ve got it on the trailer and I don’t plan to bring it home!  I have a solid spare brake pedal zip ties to this as well.  I just ran out of time to swap it.

Snowco trailer $500 can deliver to the big show with down payment by Wednesday at 9am. I’m only bringing it someone wants to buy it. It needs lights and wiring repairs but is in great shape no big structural issues or rust. May need tires soon. Painted, new lights and tires this would be a show quality piece. Will only bring to the show for a buyer with at least a 50% deposit via PayPal, Venmo or Apple Pay. Feel free to ask for more pics. Tilts and works as it should. Has added fender height which can be easily removed.

Another late entry - is anyone looking for a real nice 36” rear tiller?  Tines are probably 85% or more.  I’ve not seen one with tines this big.  Complete bolt in for C series or similar, from the mid mount tensioner, belt, axle hitch, loft assist spring, and such.  2 of 3 idlers are cast iron and good shape.  I will not haul it without interest first.

$425

SOLD!
