Ed Kennell 43,451 #53 Posted October 21 Pa. muzzle loader opened this week. This is for doe only and I had a doe tag. A cool 45F morning and a good day to butcher. 7:15 this fat doe stopped at 30 yds and the smoke pole did the deed. 9:am 10am ready to make sausage. 2
adsm08 3,716 #54 Posted October 21 You butcher too quick Ed. Gotta stick 'em in a fridge quartered and just above freezing for a week before cutting it off the bone. We still haven't gotten anything this year. This week isn't going to be real great for hunting time, but Thursday we are going to to advantage of the Jr/Sr special firearms season. Hopefully he gets a shot off. If he can get one in his sights I'm pretty confident he'll drop it.

lynnmor 8,155 #56 Posted October 22 You missed a few, these are just .82 miles from your house. There were a few more out of the lighting. https://youtu.be/NdHJMPRHWuU

There was a spike in the parking lot when I left today, I acted like I didn't even know he was there and was able to walk across the lot a couple times and get fairly close without spooking him. Ed Kennell 43,451 #62 Posted 14 hours ago (edited) Yesterday my Amish neighbor asked to hunt in my tree stand this morning. The first day of Pa rifle season. I had all ready filled my buck and doe tags in bow season and his 14 yo hired helper took a nice buck with his bow from the stand. He said he didn't have the required orange to wear so this morning I walked to the tree to give him an orange hat and vest that I no longer used. Before I got to the tree I saw him coming with a horse pulling his deer. Pictures won't load..error 200 @nylyon Edited 6 hours ago by Ed Kennell
nylyon-(Admin) 8,458 #63 Posted 14 hours ago Starting Monday, going to start upgrading things around here, my biggest fear is things may look different but we’ll see what happens. One thing that may help, take a screen shot of the image, then see if the screen shot loads.

I realized I had rotated this one before trying to load it. So I rotated it back to its original position and it loaded. rotated -
