When I got it I thought it had 143k miles judging by the body but I think it’s 43k because it still has the cross haching and no ring ridge! You can't go just by that on those old cast iron Fords. I pulled apart my first 2.9 with a known 215K miles on it. Cross-hatch visible, no ring ridge, and the part numbers on the main bearings were still readable.
