Duke and Mary...I hope you do not think that I forgot about the bike thing.

I hope you remember that I said the bike belonged to my kids...kids 29 & 31..anyway, when I got home from the show and told them that I had a good home for the bike...they did not want to let it go..

the issue is not over yet...I figure I have till the show in Mich next year to work on them...anyway---here is pic of what I was and will still be trying to get to you.

had a great time at the show.. :thumbs2:

Mike I can't speak for Duke....but I'd sugest this.

(1) Find the largest, longest hill in your hometown.

(2) Ride to the bottom.

(3) Shut off the bike.

(4) Push bike back up the hill with the engine still shutoff.

(5) Once at top of hill repeat process till desired weight loss is achieved.

I'll bet you'll fit back into your 20 year old leathers in no time. :thumbs2:

Red Iron

Gee, Duke, that bike kinda reminds me of my old Huffy 26" bike from

1965 or so. The rear rack was like yours, stamped steel metal, and also

had a "in the frame" headlight (top bar) that I took off (kept it of course).

Chrome fenders rounded it out nicely. Too bad I didn't keep that one,

only thing wrong with it when I sold it was handle bars were bent down

(too many jumps with hard landing).

That's typical of a horse collector, to get a red/white bike with fat tires.

Take care Duke, the body comes first so it can work & play. :thumbs2:

So If Ya See Any Cheap Lemme know. :thumbs2:

Since you're such a tractor nut here's one for ya, Duke:

The Best Name in Bikes

:thumbs::ychain:

Kidding aside, this line of bikes was apparently a pretty low-budget piece of junk despite the name that appears on the frame. The originals from the late 1800's are highly prized.
