Take good measurements before welding the holes shut so you know exactly where to drill the new holes.

I’m pretty sure the silver/crome one goes in the center on the back of the rear fender. Correct me if I’m wrong.

Took me a few minutes, but I think he meant "they (family) tricked him about it being a 'no'" .  Not that @Vinylguy Midwest Custom Graphics/redoyourhorse tricked him.  I think he got exactly what he wanted. :D

Agreed there too.

Methinks the larger one that looks like faux wood is for the headlamp block out plate for tractors without headlamps.

Correct on the decal placement. Bad photos but you get the idea. The front where headlights would go and on the back fender under seat pan.

Push the roll pin out and lift off the wheel.  :P

Steering wheel removal is a right of passage with wheel horses.  Lots of threads here on various methods....almost always involving blood sweat tears and cursing...

To start get a true quality 1/4" roll pin punch

Dash plate should look like this one on Jim's @WHX??.  Looks like the spot where the lighter went has been altered.

No worries.

Could have been a combination of several owners too.

These machines are 40 to 70 years old now. Some have had easy existences,  others not so much.

A-Z tractor might be able to hook you up with a new dash plate

Have you done a search of this site's files section for the Owners manual? Lots good stuff there makes it worth learning how.

Search for “Tractor 1968 Charger” and be sure to set the option for “Use all my search terms"
