Maybe a 1968 or 69

Model unknown. Likely a Raider or Charger.

Leaning towards a Charger 10 or 12 hydro.

I don't think Raiders were hydros.

Needs dual exhaust.  Can't have one cold foot.

Random question but what battery should I get for it?

Looks like that has the larger size.

Might have been a group 24NF when new.

I've used a group 35 in place of those.

I install a small spacer on one side or use an overhead holder. That's the preferred way.

Group 35 is easy and plentiful around here in some salvage yards because it fits a bunch of imported cars.

Agree with Eric on a 68 or 69 Charger. I would guess 1968 due to the starter/generator. The ID tag should be under the dash. If you can give us a picture of the ID tag we can give you an exact model & year.

I would go along with 1969 Charger, @pfrederi is our resident Charger expert.

I believe the SG was discontinued mid year in 68. So with a manual pto and an auto I'd guess it to be a 68 charger 12.   Is there a tag on the hoodstand?

Joe :WRS: Looks like a good project tractor to keep you busy. If you have a Walmart near you [because their battery’s are cheap =$$] look in their garden section for the mower batteries pick the one with hire cranking amps. Make sure you release the tow valve before moving. Read up on all manuals that fit this tractor.Enjoy the ride!

interesting throttle set up. Diamond in the ruff. Well worth giving it some attention and getting it back in service again..
