Beautiful truck. No chain drive here. Those highway rigs are all great drives.

A number of years ago, there was an air show in Kansas City.  We had other business that took us into the city that day.  We saw a Folker DR 1 flying by.  

 

There are not that many that are operational.  I wonder if it is the same one?

Lynmor I enjoyed the link you shared. 

I grew up round airplanes with the small town airport on our farm. 

I always say my day was the last of the barnstormer generation.

I have been to Rhinebeck a couple of times, they put on a corny show flying the old planes, I even took the ride in a bi-plane.  If you ever are in the northeast, a visit to Rhinebeck will be memorable.
