Right purty, isn't it.  Any way, it has had an engine transplant. I have looked around on the net trying to find out what size the engine is and have had no luck. Found 10hp as well as 7hp. :( Of course some one painted over the engine plate, so this helps me out tremendously. The model number on the engine is 143-659012. Can any one tell me the size of this engine from the model number??

If I had a dime for every post I screwed up, I could buy a Starbucks coffee.  I don’t have all those dimes, but I don’t like their coffee anyway.  It’s all good.

Guessing you got the techy manual?  Nothing in ther?

Bob just nailed it. I :text-google: that number and came up with the same HH100. Same muff that was on the Sears I sold to Jerimi's kid.

Good luck with that thing!  It looks interesting.  I’ve never seen one quite like it.

Is the fuel line thru the blower shroud unique to Tecky.     All mine had that.     If so, makes a quick easy way to ID Teckys.

Somewhere in this mess of a phone I got pics of the model # on that beast... see if I can find it but pretty sure it started with 143.

They are the only engine that I have seen this done on. Always made me nervous as to how long it would take to vibrate a hole in the fuel line.

Thanks, Not sure what I'm going to do with it yet. It's low man on the pole so it might be a while before I get into it.

No worries though Duct Tape, Zip Ties & Dreams will turn it into some thing. :thumbs2:

Nice find Dan!  What where the terms of acquisition?  There are plenty of kids needing wheels here and there… if you don’t have a need I’m sure there is somewhere on the forum :handgestures-thumbupright:

One of the several 8 HP Kohler engines we've seen here had the old rubber fuel hose go through the shroud kind of at the bottom of the cooling fins.
