Afternoon! I have heard many good things about Wheel Horse tractors, and recently decided to make my first purchase! My budget was pretty low, and I stumbled on one that needs some work so it seems like the right thing to do. Picked up a 1985 312-8 21-12K801 for $150. Overall not too bad condition and runs well, but the steering is completely broken. That is my first project to get this thing in working order and then I can worry about lesser items. I know virtually nothing about this tractor yet, so any tips, tricks, or overall advice is welcome! Especially if it has anything to do with getting the steering in order, as I'm not sure how much I can fix and what will need to be replaced, not sure if this is a common issue or not.
