  • Axles or Transaxle for Sundstrand 90-1136

The axles on my 1976 C-120 Auto are shot. I'm looking for a good set of axles, diff assembly, or a complete transaxle.

I live near Fort Wayne Indiana but travel the I-90 corridor to Minnesota every couple of weeks. I also travel to Plymouth/Ann Arbor area a couple times a month.

Thanks, but I already tried these.

They worked great for about a year but began slipping when I was pulling on a heavy trailer. I torqued them to spec, but now thinking I should have went tighter.

Now they slip no matter how tight I try and get them. I ended up snapping off one of the bolts from torquing on it too much.

The axles are really mangled now.

Unless you come across an easier solution, you're going to have to open the case and pull the axles. If it was me and the keyway is the only issue, I would have new keyways cut 180* from the originals. I've done that before and just used straight 1/4" keys. Just don't cut them at 90* or you might lose where you need to have the second set screw.
