If you are talking about the paticular furnace in my garage you would loose, :hide: cause I have modified it! :D The paticular furnace I have I Installed in a friends house back in 1988, Three years ago he wanted a new one so I aquired this one. It had a bad blower motor and circuit board which I replaced.

Sooooo you are familar I take it with the Carrier line of furnaces? I was a stocking dealer for 10 years and stillpurchase them for jobs occasionally.

Alrighty then. My guess would be 9596.45 btu/hr to keep it status quo with all of the information you provided. That's my final answer, and I'm sticking to it. I hope you not only provide your answer, but also the calcs for us math dweebs. The only error I can see would be the r-values for the building materials. This guess takes in consideration the heat gains you listed also. You can ship the DVD regual postage?? :hide: :horseplay:
