502 getting there

Yea I no wrong steering wheel and tire is on backwards,  original steering wheel looks like a tree feel on it so over the winter I will try to straighten it and repair the cracks in the plastic, but the deck is going to my biggest issue now she’s ruff.  Ruff as in looks like it lived in the bottom of a salt lake,   Mechanically it’s ok so prolly going to try to reskin it. Finding parts in Arkansas is not easy.  Can’t make up my mind if I want to put hub caps on it.

Nice, so far. A 502 would have come with a rope start 5.5 HP Lauson (Tecumseh) engine. No battery, ammeter, starter / generator, ignition switch or starter button. What you have looks to be a 702 with a 7 HP Kohler .....

It’s actually a k181, Side cover said 502 so that’s what I’ve called it,    Hard to tell what’s all been replaced threw the years idk maybe the belt cover was replaced with 502 parts rig in the past because the battery box bolts and push button and switch  looked original.
