Looking at a 1075 - is it missing the front hitch

Recommended Posts

Im looking at possibility buying this machine to double my wheel horse collection.

I have a B80, the deck for it and a plow for it also.

hoping the attachments would be interchangeable between the 2 machines.

Ideally one machine would be for plowing, the other for mowing. At least thats the idea in my mind.

But after looking at the pictures, looks like the front hitch is either missing, or a totally different style on this tractor.

Can almost make out a mid hitch on the photos, but almost looks like an empty bolt hole where the front hitch may have attached.

Pullstart

There were some models around then that only had a mid mount tach-a-matic and mid mule drives too.. nothing mounted off the front.  Snow blowers were mounted through the frame.

Works good too bolts to the side of the frame in existing holes you do need to cut hood mount a little bit tho 20220716_163952.jpg.46807c71cc8d89365325d849e6560ba8.jpg

What would be a reasonable value for the tractor - no attachments?

The short frame 1075 has a different distance from the front axle to mid hitch. The add on front tach a matic adapter will not bolt on without mods. The adapter will hit the mid hitch instead of bolting in in front of it.

Decks do not interchange. A long frame snow plow (B80) can be used on short frame (1075) if the plow has the extra holes in the rear bar mounting.

For that tractor the money isn't in the decks or plows. Sure it would be great to have them but they are available pretty cheap. Finding a proper one I think would be easier then modifying something to fit. Here is what deck you need. I would use the 1075 to plow though and the b80 to mow. There should be a small pulley about under that stack muffler. Mounts under there as well. No mule drive on the front.
