Back in the short track racing daze, I was cutting off the mangled rear bumper of the Stock Car after an eventfull Saturday night while it was up on the trailer using the "Gas Axe" - My foot was under the area I was cutting - hit the Oxy Lever and molten metal went down the inside of my boot, melted the sock and burned into the skin. There was a clamp imprint in the sole now! Funny that you mention that. Before I redid the exhaust system on my Ranger... I was working on some other stuff under the truck. Truck was hot. Exhaust system was hot. My hand somehow went from my body to the cat-converter... My handprint remained on that cat-converter cover until the day I replaced it...
