leeave96 490 #1 Posted August 13, 2022 Been working through a filthy gas tank on my 520H - cleaned out the tank, replaced the valve on the bottom of the tank and then some water in the gas, I think that is almost in the rear view mirror, fuel flow is good, however... Seems like when I point the nose of the 520H down a hill, it wants to sputter and somewhat try to cut out. A little bit of choke on/off seems to smooth the Onan out. Anyone experienced this with an Onan? I’m thinking there may be a trace of moisture in the gas or I’ve got a float problem. Fuel filter is clean, fuel pump is strong. Any ideas and sage advice is much appreciated,

ineedanother 1,668 #3 Posted August 13, 2022 Probably water and trash in the bowl. Would likely happen on bumpy terrain as well. PIA, especially when the gasket on the bowl won't seal but stick with it and you'll get it cleaned out.
peter lena 9,252 #4 Posted August 13, 2022 @leeave96 , agree with others on the total fuel flush , also refresh your fuel filters , have a large one just off my fuel tank , another small one closer to carb , also add STA- BIL to all my fuel , done that for years , no issues, pete
