Can anyone recommend a quality engine rebuilder in North Central PA. Looking to have a KOHLER K241AS worked on.

I put one in a box and sent it to him. Top notch work! I'm in central pa and there's nowhere that I found that will even touch a small engine.

MAPCO in Sunbury, or possibly Brian at K&B could recommend someone local.

I know he and his dad did a full valve job on the K181 I bought from him a few  years ago, and it runs like a champ. Not as involved as a full rebuild, but they were a Toro/WH dealer once upon a time. They are also located in the Sunbury area.

Same here!

In fact there have even been a couple old long established fixture engine machine shops the just threw in the towel period. Why pay several thousand $ for a rebuild when you can go on facebook and find hundreds of complete engines for 1K or so.

Yeah, @richmondred01 looks better n better......

Do you guys do full engine rebuilds? Boring out the cylinder and machining cranks etc? If so that's awesome because you're only 40 minutes from me in sunbury. Saw your rebuild stuff at the show, real nice stuff!

Beiler engine service and repair is west of Quarryville, PA in Lancaster County.   I haven't used them myself, but their online reviews are good.  Amish owned.  They do ship after repair, but you would probably want to drop off to make sure they understand what you want.  (717) 786-7943  Please let us know how it goes.
