520H Low pressure light on

Recommended Posts

Everything was running great. I attached the deck and used the hydraulic lift. Everything was running great. I shut it off after a couple of minutes. I dropped the deck with engine off. A few minutes later I tried to start it and the LOW PRESSURE light is on and engine completely dead. I have a new battery. Volts ok. I tried everything this novice mechanic could think of. Can anyone help?

Depending on the year, a dash light should illuminate when turned to start indicating the fault, look for that first.

As you can see, the fuse, ignition switch, seat switch, neutral switch, PTO switch, switching relay, start relay and the solenold on the starter all need to be in working order.  I would start at the PTO switch and check for voltage there when the key is turned to start. If no voltage, work backwards till you find where it is lost.  If you did find voltage in the first test, then check wiring and relays going towards the starter.
