ebinmaine 63,342 #228 Posted October 3, 2022 Neato new toy showed up today and the Ditch Witch was taken to another site. This is a tracked type man lift. On level ground it'll reach 32 feet. Here it is all set up ready for the setting of the first truss. The guys finished building the front walls beside the 16' doorway. Also put copper flashing all the way around the foundation and added the PT sill plates. The brackets (circled in red) are what holds the header beam. We'll be installing eel-lectric. Likely next year. Permanent water probably will never happen. Cost of digging ditches and making the connection is HUGE. To meet code for a tie in we need a 5 ish foot deep ditch. That's not possible without MAJOR excavation. There's no such thing as a ditch here.
