Jallen7773 0 #1 Posted June 5, 2022 When my wire from the magneto is connected to the ignition switch, no spark at the plug. If my wire from the magneto is not connected, it starts fine, but won't switch off. Any suggestions?

8ntruck 6,519 #4 Posted June 5, 2022 (edited) I believe that the wire between the mag and ignition switch is the ground wire for the mag. Connect it to ground, the engine shouts off. Not connected to ground, the mag will make spark. I think the ignition switch grounds this wire in the off position. Do not put 12v on that wire. Magic smoke will come out of the mag, and it will quit working. to the forum. You have found a good source of help for your Wheel Horse. Is this tractor one that you've had for some time or is it new to you? @Jallen7773 Edited June 5, 2022 by Jeff-C175
